Fee

$25 minimum. $0.30 per $1,000 on first $1M gross receipts; $0.15 per $1,000 on $1M-$10M; $0.05 per $1,000 on $10M-$100M; $0.01 per $1,000 above $100M.

Fee Structure

Gross receipts-based annual tax with tiered rates. Subcontractor pass-through amounts excluded per CA B&P Code §7108.5.

Notes

Contractors must provide CA State Contractor's License number on application. Must apply within 15 days of starting business. Late penalty of 20% assessed on unpaid balance.
